We use a combination of scanning probe microscopy techniques and optical techniques to probe electronic and optoelectronic properties of nanoscale materials, including single molecules, organic thin films and other nanoscale structures that have potential in future information processing and photovoltaic applications.
We are joining an extensive community of researchers at UBC interested in nanoscale materials properties including groups interested in quantum materials, organic and molecular electronics, and clean energy. Our laboratory will be located in AMPEL, an interdisciplinary institute for wide-ranging materials research.
